Growing up even amongst other Asians I used to feel like being Chinese was “different” and try to be more “westernized” to fit in. But I’m so so glad that better representation has helped me accept and love my heritage, my Asian features, my culture, and proudly show up wearing traditional clothes to perform!! ✨🥹 It felt really full circle for me. I wish I could reassure myself back then that I don’t have to change myself. Anyways!!
