[ad] Variegated yarns with long repeats like @itoyarn 'Tsuchi' are great for mending: a single ball gives you a whole bunch of complementary colours. Good yarn economy! Each repeat is enough for a fairly large repair, or you could combine two or more shades (I like using different colours for weft and warp when doing a woven mend). Yet another reason to love variegated yarns - as if one was needed... 😉 And of course - a little cameo from my beautiful gold-plated needlework scissors from @whiteley1760 ✂️ #visiblemending #mending #repairdontreplace #lovedclotheslast

@itoyarn I have a feeling this yarn is slightly addictive, though... 😉 You start with just one ball for some mending - but it's so lovely to work with that before you know it you're planning a whole knitting project 🙊
